Reading Immersion: Bird Flight
An experimental user experience game that makes use of the controller to unique effect with the left and right sticks acting as a bird’s wings. No face buttons are used in this game, though trigger buttons are used to some degree.
The player flies around a small world within the book they are reading, possibly finding the next page in the process.
While this is not a full project, it is a display of UX.
Controls are with a Controller only!
Controls
Move both control sticks up to lift your wings, then down to flap. This will increase your height and get you moving
If both sticks return to neutral while flying, you will glide
If you bring both sticks toward each other, you will dive
Use both LT/RT (Xbox) or L2/R2 (PS) to steer and change directions.
